A Project Built On Passion
360 QuayStay was opened in 2021 by brothers Michael and Vincent Pettit. Although hailing from Clonmel in Co. Tipperary, they have always held a unique passion for the experience and adventure that Dungarvan has to offer for their family and friends. Coming from a large family that has its roots in hospitality, they have over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, including 360 Cookhouse and Jitterbeans Coffee Bar and Deli.
In fact, hospitality is in their DNA and these three decades of experience have given them a unique understanding of their customers’ hopes, fears and expectations. As such, they have always been ideally positioned to answer those needs ahead of time, by providing the essential qualities guests expect during their stay.
A New Dawn for Dungarvan
However, when they met business partner Jim Healy, who helped them construct and renovate projects like 360 Cookhouse and even their own homes, talk quickly turned to building something special in this special part of the world. Determined to nurture the hidden gem that is Dungarvan, they set out to retain that ‘unexplored’ quality that locals and their locality have to offer.
This escapism from mundane life inspired them to create an oasis-like experience in the centre of town. One where adventure-seekers and recreational travellers alike, could enjoy some comfort and fun in a completely new way.
Eye-Catching Outside and In
With its striking late Georgian, early Victorian architectural features, high ceilings, large windows and intricate mouldings, this historic building was once the offices of Dungarvan Council. Evidence of those days still remains, with a large vault door located on the ground floor.
To juxtapose the unique history of this beautiful building, they set about lovingly crafting one of the most modern, forward-thinking guest experiences found anywhere in Ireland. From the super-quick self-service check-in, to the cutting-edge technology used across the property, this is the future of hospitality, whether you’re here to work, rest or play.
